• 10/10/10 - lately your sleeping habits have me VERY tired! somewhere between midnight and 5 am you decide that your bed isn't doing it for you anymore and coming into mine is the best idea...it may be for you but your bed manners are horrible...you sleep sideways, legs flailing and constantly toss & turn...just waiting for you to settle back into your "normal" sleep -- and please stop waking up at 5 am and crying for Dora until 6 am (when I finally drag myself from the bed & grant you your wish!) You are the rooster in the house these days!
• 9/08/10 - ate your weight in twizzlers & chocolate from Hershey Chocolate Factory! Family Vacation 2010 
• 8/30/10 - Today while I was changing your diaper and Will was filling his pants in the "baby donut of joy" [Baby Einstein exersaucer] you looked at me and said "oooow, poo poo" -- this is your 3rd reference to the poo poo process...you might be ready to potty train soon?!??! Although you sit on the little potty like a throne, I think you only think it's a neat chair in the bathroom and NOT a toilet! 
• 8/21/10 - You continue to improve with your vocabulary. It's too funny because we correct your sister when she whines about something, and when we ask you to use your manners (like we do with Cassidy) you say a bunch of jumbled up words followed by a "peez" -- it's hysterical! Oh, and you use your eyebrows as a way of acknowledgement..as in "uumm hum, that's right"
• 7/21/10 - played Peek-a-boo with Will for the first time...too cute! Also, used two & three word phrases -- after I stole a small bite of your muffin, you said "no no bite" I apologized then you said "no no bite...bad Mommy" -- LOL!
• 7/8/10 - Jake's words have really taken off -- he has just been talking up a storm! He tends to share most things with his sister...except for the vitamin I gave him today that was for her..it didn't make it to the living room ---hmm :) And when I asked him about it, he just gave me a little grin...you stinker! 18 months feels like the 2's are starting...becoming a little more of a challenge to keep up with...it's fun to run from Mom!
• 6/19/10 - Jake has been eating cereal like a 'big boy' for a while, (cereal with milk and eating it with a spoon) - today he wanted to say the prayers as we sat down to breakfast..he garbled some unintelligble words - but I'm sure He understood them! Oh, and Jake has begun to slurp milk from his spoon like it's soup & tip the bowl to his lips to drink the milk --too funny, but a total MESS!
• 6/1/10 - says "yes ma-m" (yes Ma'am) and begins to nod head in yes fashion...but usually still says "no" to everything first, then corrects his response once Mom figures out what he wants!
• 5/20/10 - says prayers at the table...clasps his hands & says "Amma" (amen) 
• 5/16/10 - First hair cut -- all those precious curls buzzed off :( 
• 4/20/10 - Jake's current list of spoken words: Mommy, Daddy, Sissy (Cassidy), Cass-a-dee (Cassidy), Ty, Baybee (baby), Mih mih (milk), Peas (please), Tank tou (thank you), no-no (no), Bye Bye, nana (banana), nigh nigh (night night), and a whole lot of jumbled up toddler talk :)
• 4/14/10 - Jake begins "motoring" his cars & riding his ride-on toys
• 04/07/10 - teething 4 molars!!
• 03/04/10 - Jake's an official walker!
• 2/12/10 - Jake takes first steps
